Kiss.com Hears Wedding Bells in Cyber Space

One of the Internet's Busiest Addresses for Singles

Kiss.com, Inc. (www.kiss.com), a Seattle based provider of Picture Personals(TM) service, is happy to announce a Cyber love story for the record books.  This was truly a perfect ending to the century, and a look into the future of dating in the new Millennium.

Kiss.com users Kristin McKibbage, a single mother and owner of her own business from Minnesota, and Stuart Loveday, a divorced banker from England, both had a lot in common: love of children, family, and a great desire to share their lives with someone special.  Considering that they didn't know each other and an entire ocean separated them, they met the only way they possibly could have, through the Internet using Kiss.com.

Kiss.com has many success stories from couples that have met online and married, but Kristin and Stuart's story stands out among the crowd. "On September 10th I was watching 'Shakespeare in Love,' by myself, at home and decided that I would love to find a romantic, sensitive man from England.  So, with little online experience I went on the Internet and found myself at Kiss.com.  Within minutes, I found Stuart's profile and sent him an email," said Kristin.  After many long emails and talks on the phone, Stuart flew to the US to meet Kristin in person on October 1st; by October 3rd they were engaged.

Finding love on the Internet will become more and more mainstream. "In this new era that we live in, people are busier than ever, moving cross country for jobs and working long hours with long commutes. Plus, there is an entire demographic of single parents that outgrew the bar scene long ago, but still long to share their life with someone," explains Jennifer Fox, Marketing Director for the privately owned Kiss.com. "The simplicity of the Internet is the common sense answer."  Internet relationship sites also have the unique ability to save time and energy as well as giving each client a safety net. Through Kiss.com, members can cut off contact with someone without any uncomfortable repercussions or the sharing of private information (home address, phone number, etc.).  Even in Internet relationships, common sense dating tips should always apply:

-- Don't give out your personal information to someone that you have only

just met on the net.

-- If you decide to meet, meet in a public place and drive separately.

-- If anything sounds strange or seems to be a "red flag," trust your

instincts and cut off communication with that person.

"People need to be smart as well as careful," Fox cautions, "But most importantly, remain open to finding that someone special, because they are out there."

Kristin and Stuart became Mr. & Mrs. Loveday on December 12th when they walked down the aisle in Duluth, Minnesota.  After an intimate church wedding surrounded by friends and family from the US and England, they are now getting to enjoy spending time together as a family. "We believe that fate has brought us together, with a lot of help from Kiss.com," said Kristin and Stuart.
