I'm worried that someone may recognize my letter or problem.
 

I understand your concern. However, if you look at my letters online you
will see I seldom mention states or cities and if i do it's the wrong one!
Any names I use are also changed for the web site and newspaper column.
Sometimes I even alter the ages of people in my letters. This is to protect
the writer as much as possible.

There are over 274 million people (latest count) just in the United States.
The problem you may want to write about is being played out hundreds of
thousands of times at the same time all across the country. I also receive letters
from other countries as well.  It would seem that people have the same kinds
of problems all over the globe.

When you take the time to write your letter, I will respond to your email
address direct.  Not every letter gets published but I do respond to each one
I receive.

There is another item to consider. Your letter may get published, someone sees
that letter and is having the exact same problem. My response to your letter helps
that other person. Your letter could have far more reaching impact than you or
I could realize.
